DISPLAYTITLE error

As shown in the accompanying screenshot, DISPLAYTITLE is causing an on-screen error. I didn't go through them all, but I assume it's because it's also in another transcluded template. —Scott latest?cb=20200820192427 (talk) 16:32, 24 May 2022 (UTC)

There's a call to DISPLAYTITLE in the {{sidebar book}} template, so the explicit call at the bottom of the page was a duplicate and was causing the error. The call to DISPLAYTITLE was added to the sidebar template at some point after the one was added to article page without any checking to remove duplicates. That wasn't an issue back then, because that error message didn't exist; it was added some time later.
I just removed the DISPLAYTITLE at the bottom of the page and that fixed it. -- Renegade54 (talk) 16:45, 24 May 2022 (UTC)

I figured that was the solution, but when I took it out, the page no longer displayed as "All I really need to know I learned from watching Star Trek" which I thought was the desired outcome. It's just all italics now. —Scott latest?cb=20200820192427 (talk) 18:28, 24 May 2022 (UTC)

Book titles should always be all italics, so that one was wrong anyway. :) -- Renegade54 (talk) 22:06, 24 May 2022 (UTC)

I found a couple more where the duplication is causing a conflict:

Not sure how you want to handle those since it seems that there's no problem with any of the other articles using {{sidebar starship}}, just those two. —Scott latest?cb=20200820192427 (talk) 20:03, 25 May 2022 (UTC)

On those, the 'dt' tag in the sidebar should handle the format appropriately. -- Sulfur (talk) 01:04, 26 May 2022 (UTC)
