The MIT Connection[]
I removed the following note, which has been without citation for awhile:
- It was rumored during the first season of Star Trek: Enterprise that it would be revealed Rasmussen was a roommate of Jonathan Archer's at MIT.

Dr. Crusher Connection[]
- the article states that Dr. Crusher did not have any feelings back for Rasmussen, but she stated, "I'm beginning to feel a little bit influenced," and was upset with him when his lie was revealed thinking he had lied to her about that as well. -- 152.132.9.132 17:17, April 12, 2010 (UTC)
Similarities with Henry Starling[]
Henry Starling was a 20th Century inventor/philanthropist, who in the 1960s discovered a crashed timeship. He used the technology of the vessel to "invent" several innovative new technologies in the 20th Century including the first Isograted circuit. Finding that he could no longer scavenge the vessels technologies for his own purpose, he decided to travel into the 29th Century to gain new technologies, with the intent to bring it back to the 20th Century for financial gain.
Much like Rasmussen, both found a timeship, both were from the past, and both intended on obtaining technologies from the future in order to benefit themselves in the past. Unlike Starling's ill-fated attempt at traveling into the future, Rasmussen actually succeeded in going to the future. However, after being caught by the crew of the Enterprise-D, Rasmussen was stranded in the 24th Century. --Darkthunder (talk) 15:03, March 17, 2014 (UTC)
