Merge
I call for merge. Both this page and the Canopus page cover the same material.The name Canopus was mentioned in "Arena". However, I am unable to find Canopus system. The galactic map has Canopus III and Alpha Carinae. One is a planet, and the other is a star. Throwback (talk) 00:42, September 24, 2012 (UTC)
Oppose. I think there should be two articles as information are not identical on both pages. Tom (talk) 10:38, March 7, 2015 (UTC)- I think you're misunderstanding the issue: it being that there was never any talk of the "canopus system" existing, only "canopus" and a few planet names with Canopus in it were mentioned, with no further context as to where they are. In fact this page should not exist, except that merging was deemed a better solution then outright nomination for deletion. -- Capricorn (talk) 18:15, March 7, 2015 (UTC)
- Now I got it. If there was no mention of this system and we'll find all information from this article in the articles mentioned in canon (Canopus, Canopus III), the I agree this article should be removed. Tom (talk) 18:47, March 7, 2015 (UTC)
