Mars vs. Theta 116 VIII

It is hard to reconcile the use of Class K for both these planets. The info from Star Trek: Star Charts should be considered wrong in this case. -- Cid Highwind 08:38, 25 Dec 2003 (PST)

Theta 116 VIII Class C or K?

I don't know how someone decided that this was a Class K planet. If you freeze the image on the tape for the episode "The Royale" [TNG], you can see that the screen shows Theta 116 as a class C transjovian planet.

Here's a DVD screenshot from the episode. You can clearly see that it is a "Class K Transjovian" planet. Compare the K with the C on the top in "Planetary scan" and you'll see that the "C" in this font looks quite different. --Jörg 08:47, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
