Nomination (30 Apr - 20 May 2012, Failed)[]

Self-nomination.

I've covered all the major starship designs, from NX-class to the alternate reality Constitution-class, and found sourced funtionality and illustrative screenshots for each type of command console from the buttons on Jonathan Archer's command chair to the hand scanner on the USS Defiant. I'm not really sure what else there is to include - I'll be happy to take any suggestions - but I think this topic is covered top to bottom. I did my best to avoid rehashing too much information from the command chair page, and tried to stick directly to the actual buttons and displays rather than the chairs directly. - Aatrek 22:19, April 30, 2012 (UTC)

I'm not ready to formally say "I object" yet, as I'd like to read it a few times first, but the series citations at the beginning are not necessary, if the rest of the article is cited. The background note in the Sovereign class part needs to go, as all it does is state the unknown and an assumption. As an aside(and irrelevant to this nomination), while I could support this article, I'd like to see some of the older ones reviewed and reconfirmed before we start adding more- at the current rate it will take years to reconfirm the articles that need it. 31dot 22:32, April 30, 2012 (UTC)

Noted portions removed. - Aatrek 22:41, April 30, 2012 (UTC)

Haven't read the article yet, but I can tell you the blurb is way too short and shouldn't contain citations or links to articles beyond this one. The blurb should be able to support the picture, and be displayed on one of the portal pages which is roughly a third wider than the standard width, so I suggest using the template to check the size most blurbs should fall into. Anything that doesn't at least come close to filling that box is going to be too short. - Archduk3 04:55, May 1, 2012 (UTC)
  • Oppose, as the Kelvin-type isn't an alternate reality type of ship, since it predates the split. I've moved it out of that section, but both it and the chair on the USS Trainer need to be described. - Archduk3 23:42, May 5, 2012 (UTC)
  • Oppose for the same reasons, though there is definitely potential for this article, and work should continue on it. 31dot 23:55, May 5, 2012 (UTC)

Anything else?[]

I've included everything of note I can think of, but I'll be happy to include any other information people may discover. - Aatrek 22:20, April 30, 2012 (UTC)
