Title

Since the term extortion was used in canon, should this article be titled "extortion" with blackmail as a redirect?--31dot 00:23, September 16, 2011 (UTC)

Blackmail was used in "Necessary Evil", though as the article is now worded, it should be at extortion with a redirect. - Archduk3 (on an unsecure connection) 02:29, September 16, 2011 (UTC)

Upon looking at the Wikipedia articles for Extortion and Blackmail I'm wondering if they should be separate articles. They are defined differently, with blackmail limited to coercion through the threat of releasing information, while extortion is defined as the coercing party obtaining something from their victim through threats. Or are they similar enough for our purposes?--31dot 01:10, September 21, 2011 (UTC)
