The citation to TOS: "The Squire of Gothos" makes no sense to me for this article; it just appears random. I'll try and clean it up later. Aholland 13:09, 20 April 2006 (UTC)

Have you even watched the episode? Spock mentions that Gothos is made of iron and silica. Please try and research information that is from episodes, rather than removing it in the name of "cleaning it up". -- Captain M.K.B. 13:41, 20 April 2006 (UTC)
Considering that
a) the episode is given as a reference for the information that "Iron is a principal component of meteorites known as siderites and is also a component of carbon steel." (which is random and most probably not from that episode), and that
b) now we know what the information from that episode really was about,
the comment on this talk page seems to have worked as intended. BTW, there's no mentioning of any "removal" of information. -- Cid Highwind 13:50, 20 April 2006 (UTC)
So my request that the citation itself not be removed should be easy to accede to. IT was relatively easy to find iron in a transcript of the episode via Google. -- Captain M.K.B. 13:56, 20 April 2006 (UTC)
It also was relatively easy to actually include that information in the article - which should end this discussion... -- Cid Highwind
