Well, this is linked heavily in the Ferengi Rules of Acquisition. Which while it makes for great reading, isn't this supposed to be canon only? *boggle* -- Dracorat 00:29, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
Hi, I've bought a copy of 'Legends of the Ferengi by Quark as told to Ira Steven Behr and Robert Heweitt Wolfe'.
Is the information in this book considered canon? Can I add it to articles or create articles on Memory Alpha? It has Ferengi words, people, items and lifespans of various animals etc etc not mentioned in TV series.

- Actually canon really shouldn't be the question addressed here, as canon is basically just what you see on TV or Film and nothing else. Regarding its use on MA, and contrary to what is stated above, that is more of a question of whether it is a permitted resource or not on MA, in which case, according to our own guidelines it is: "Reference works created by production staff"... what you do with that information, on the other hand is a different story. --Alan 16:44, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
