When did anyone say she commanded the Cairo? I only recall hearing that she was on it when it was lost. - Mitchz95 02:45, December 5, 2011 (UTC)
- As stated in the article, her name appeared on a casualty list, where her rank was given. I assume the presumption is that if she was a Captain she was the commander of the ship, though I'm not sure how that is reconciled with her name used on the other ship casualty lists.--31dot 02:52, December 5, 2011 (UTC)
