Discrepancies[]

I removed :

This episode has a continuity error. After Jean-Luc Picard is possessed by the entity, he gives a command for the USS Enterprise-D to make a course correction for 925/37 (925 mark 37). This contradicts what is stated later in TNG: "Datalore" on how a starship is piloted in a 3-dimensional space.

It has been previously agreed upon that there are to be no nitpicks in the background sections of episode articles...this includes nits disguised as "discrepancies". --Alan del Beccio 19:12, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

The absence of Tasha Yar in Act Four[]

In Act Four, when the staff met in private to talk about Picard, Yar wasn't present, the question is why? Was it a coincidence, or a hint that Tasha is too loyal to the Captain? --Exodianecross (talk) 00:02, February 5, 2017 (UTC)

Removed[]

The following note has lacked citation for some time. If one can be found, it can be returned:

Edward R. Brown's cinematography is particularly dark in this episode, and uniquely among Star Trek so far features an entire deck being "blacked out" at night. After this episode, the lighting levels on the Enterprise-D would gradually increase, although the series' lighting remained quite low-key by Star Trek (or even television in general) standards until his replacement by Marvin V. Rush in the third season.
