Civilian use?[]

Was just wondering if the civilian use has any source? I might just be missing it in the page but couldnt find any and cant remember a source my self for this claim. Mojo 18:04, October 27, 2015 (UTC)

I haven't watched these episodes in a long time, but I'm pretty sure that in one of the times Worf's parents visit him, they come on an Oberth class described as a civilian transport. And of course the Vico has an SS registry, and I think it was mentioned sometime in 'Hero Worship' that it was a civilian science vessel. The Guardian of Forever (talk) 21:24, January 16, 2016 (UTC)

Computer core location[]

In "Hero Worship", Picard points to the upper section of the ship as the location of where Timothy was found. Then, La Forge nods and says "The hallway outside the computer core." However, the article is claiming the computer core was on deck 13. Not sure where that's coming from, as the reference is from Hero Worship. Thebilldude (talk) 00:07, March 15, 2017 (UTC)

Incorrect term[]

In addition to this, the Pegasus was the test bed for an illegal Federation cloaking device. (TNG: "The Pegasus")

The term "illegal" is not really appropriate here. It should be "Treaty violating". The terms, while related, are not interchangeable. Mounting a cloaking device on a Fed ship is not against any law anywhere, it is only a violation of one or more treaties which they have signed in which they agree not to build cloaked ships.

But it is what's said:
  • PRESSMAN: Can't you see the potential here? The phasing cloak could be the greatest breakthrough in weapons research in the last fifty years.
  • PICARD: Except it's illegal . It's in violation of an agreement that the Federation signed in good faith.
So it may be debatable, but it is not incorrect. --Gvsualan (talk) 21:08, 18 November 2021 (UTC)
