Title or rank?[]

I've never seen this episode, so I could be wrong, but could "Firek" be a title or a rank? Or are the two male aliens related? Tough Little Ship 19:20, 31 Jul 2005 (UTC)

What's this now?[]

This could be a reference to a line from the 1963 movie The Great Escape, in which the Nazi Commandant asks an American officer, "Are all American officers so ill-mannered?", to which the American officer replies, "About 99 percent."
Plinn knows his height in meters and his weight in kilograms, Human metrics. Later, when Tucker is in the escape pod, he says "7,000 meters... at least I think they're meters." It's curious that the Retellians would use the metric system. However, the universal translator could have converted Plinn's statements into meters and kilograms.

Sounds to me like it doesn't belong since it's pure speculation that they're related and I'm sure other movies have had similar lines. and that one too is very nitpickish – Morder 07:25, 15 July 2008 (UTC)

Euphemism[]

"end up kissing." Kissing. Yeah, right, and then they took off their clothes because they were too warm. I'm changing it to "physically intimate." Yes, still a euphemism, but I don't want complaints coming back that the viewer never actually sees sexual intercourse. 97.83.104.146 22:54, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
