Does this belong with xenophobia? Or are there varying degrees? Wikipedia has both on separate pages. --LauraCC (talk) 14:53, June 25, 2015 (UTC)

Please remember that Memory Alpha is not wikipedia. We're a Star Trek wiki not a dictionary database. Tom (talk) 15:05, June 25, 2015 (UTC)
On that basis, should this article not be deleted? --| TrekFan Open a channel 16:02, June 25, 2015 (UTC)

I was using Wikipedia as an example because what do you reference to in order to show a precedent for separate pages? Make prejudice a redirect to xenophobia perhaps and merge? --LauraCC (talk) 16:04, June 25, 2015 (UTC)

I woudn't say the article ought to be deleted since the concept was mentioned a couple of times. However, I think it needs to be completely rewritten. It should offer the references/examples that were mentioned rather then be just a definition and then a space where editors can add situations they feel qualify based at their own discretion. -- Capricorn (talk) 20:28, June 26, 2015 (UTC)
Since there were no further comments, I rewrote the article along the lines I suggested above, hope that's ok . Because I essentially started from scratch, here's the previous version preserved: -- Capricorn (talk) 18:07, July 8, 2015 (UTC)

I've expanded this article to include bigotry, since they're so closely related articles, and more concretely since in stigma the two terms are essentially used interchangeably. However, I'm unsure what the best title would be for the resulting article, prejudice or bigotry. Does anyone have any ideas on that? -- Capricorn (talk) 18:07, July 8, 2015 (UTC)

We also have bias. --LauraCC (talk) 16:18, October 3, 2018 (UTC)
