So... this guy shares his name and was likely named after him... to me that suggests that Barnett was involved with the franchise previously somehow... as in... before the remastering began. Thoughts? -- Sulfur 15:12, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
- I would say that is a reasonable assessment. He was apparently involved not only with DS9 but with Enterprise, as well. He attended the Enterprise wrap party in 2005 (he's the guy at the far left in this picture, which is titled "Jackie, Jim, Dave, and Richard Barnett.jpg"; the tall guy is James Van Over and the balding guy is someone named Dave). --From Andoria with Love 19:32, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
