Also speculation. Moreover, it might flat out be wrong. Earth is exposed to plenty of radiation that would kill people on a regular basis, but the atmosphere provides a natural defense. Astronauts going to the moon experienced minor effects of radiation (ex: flashes in their vision) and this has been studied and commented on by NASA and others. Regardless, the point is that Earth's atmosphere provides natural protection from most of this, and the planet in this episode might also have provided protection to its inhabitants. Alternatively, the native creatures could be immune, just like the Takret. BUT, none this is ever discussed in the episode, so it is, of course, just speculation. — [[User:Twilder|Twilder]] 04:35, 5 December 2008 (UTC)

Nike

I'm almost tempted to make a Nike page, as it'd be a good place for this pic of the bag. And for background we could havet the footnote on the Tsunkatse shoes. But then again, it may be too background. Opinions? - AJHalliwell 03:18, 6 Sep 2005 (UTC)

 • Are you really sure you want to risk Vedek Winn complaining about how the N-word has no page while pretzels and Nike do? --Schrei 03:22, 6 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Chef actor

Anybody know who "played" Chef in this episode? --From Andoria with Love 00:53, 15 March 2006 (UTC)

Look for Richard Sarstedt ;o] – Tom 17:50, 29 April 2007 (UTC)

Nitpick

 • At one point, Archer and T'Pol look out the porthole and watch the storm approaching the ship. If it's moving faster than light, by the time they saw it, they'd already be toast.

Speculation/nitpick — Morder 08:16, 30 September 2008 (UTC)

 • It is likely, that the plant- and animal-life on the planet shown at the episode's beginning was killed by the neutronic storm, as it clearly was located in its path and its surface has never been considered as a possible shelter from it.
