Background note on Asteroid/Planet[]
This note was recently added:
- Kirk's log entry claims the meeting was called at the "Vedala asteroid", however, when the Enterprise is seen in orbit, it is a planet.
The fact is, all we see from orbit is something big and round. There are asteroids that are big and round, 1 Ceres for example. In addition, there are larger bodies in the outer solar system, like 90377 Sedna, that in the asteroid belt would be called asteroids. Therefore, I am removing the note. --OuroborosCobra talk 05:05, 22 July 2006 (UTC)
Jane Webb?[]
Read this: "Jane Webb provided the voices of Lara and the Vedalan in this episode, not Majel Barrett as frequently reported. It appears that Jane Webb was a last minute substitution for Ms. Barrett since at the time that voice parts for "The Jihad" were being recorded, Majel Barrett was eight months pregnant with her son, Eugene.(...)"
