The Tanugan security force was the police force of Tanuga IV.
Chief Investigator Krag was working for the security force and beamed aboard the USS Enterprise-D to take Commander William T. Riker, who was accused of murdering Doctor Nel Apgar, into custody. (TNG: "A Matter of Perspective")
