Tedran

Tedran was a Kyrian leader who was killed by a Vaskan ambassador after he took several hostages aboard the USS Voyager in 2374.

He was considered a martyr by the Kyrian people, who believed that he was captured by USS Voyager who had formed an alliance with the Vaskans. They also believed that he was executed by Janeway. Hundreds of years later the truth was revealed when Quarren, a historian, activated the back up EMH program of USS Voyager. While the crew were in trade negoiations with the Vaskans, Tedran led a group of Kyrians in a raid on the ship. In the course of the attack, the Kyrians had taken hostages. After Tedran was subdued by the crew of Voyager, he was killed by the Vaskan ambassador who grapped a phaser and fired without warning.(VOY: "Living Witness")
