In 2267, Yeoman Teresa Ross was among the crewmen Trelane had transported to the planet of Gothos for his own amusement, and he took a particular interest in her. He even transformed her uniform into a floor-length gown and made her his dancing partner.
All the fuss over Ross gave Kirk the opportunity to take advantage of Trelane, enabling the Enterprise crew to eventually escape. (TOS: "The Squire of Gothos")
Teresa Ross was played by Venita Wolf.
In the novel "Ex Machina", the chief named Ross in Star Trek: The Motion Picture is given the first name Theresa, in honor of her portrayer, actress Terrence O'Connor. This is a coincidence and they are not intended to be the same character; note the different spellings.
