The Black Cat was an obscure 20th century horror movie, released on Earth. It was based on a story from the 19th century writer Edgar Allan Poe, and starred Boris Karloff and Bela Lugosi.

Charles "Trip" Tucker III informed Hoshi Sato that the film was showing on movie night on the Enterprise in 2152. (ENT: "Stigma")
