The Bradford Exchange Group is an international collectibles distribution company that was founded in 1973 by J. Roderick MacArthur in Chicago, Illinois. The company has released porcelain items, dolls, figurines, decoratives, jewelry, coins, clocks, electronics, and apparel.
In 2008, the company began to release a wide variety of licensed Star Trek merchandise branded with the CBS Consumer Products logo. Many of the same Star Trek-related items were also marketed by the company's Hawthorne Village and Hamilton Collection divisions. In 1990, J.R. MacArthur's heirs also acquired Hammacher Schlemmer which also released a number of Star Trek electronic items from 2008 to 2011.
