The Stars and Stripes Forever was a march composed by John Philip Sousa on Earth in the late 19th century.
Sheet music for the march was seen on the piano of a jazz musician in a holographic recreation of the Bourbon Street Bar in the city of New Orleans on Earth. (TNG: "11001001")
When the USS Enterprise-D was experiencing malfunctions due to tampering by nanites in early 2366, "The Stars and Stripes Forever" was played on all communications channels. (TNG: "Evolution")
