A thot is a high-ranking military officer in the Breen Confederacy, who also has political power. It is roughly similar to general or the Cardassian rank of legate.
In 2375, Thot Gor became the leader of the Breen Confederacy under Dominion rule. After the Second Battle of Chin'toka, Gor was succeeded by Thot Pran. (DS9: "Strange Bedfellows", "Tacking Into the Wind", "What You Leave Behind")
