Tommy Hinkley (born 31 May 1960; age 63) is an actor who played a journalist in Star Trek Generations.

Born in El Centro, California, Hinkley appeared in several movies and series since the late '80s. His credits include the short comedy I Killed My Lesbian Wife, Hung Her on a Meat Hook, and Now I Have a Three-Picture Deal at Disney (1993 with Johanna McCloy), Ben Stiller's comedy The Cable Guy (1996, with Andy Dick), the action thriller Under Pressure (2000, with Craig Wasson, Stanley Kamel, and Michael Cavanaugh), and the fantasy film The Little Vampire (2000, with Alice Krige).

Hinkley has also appeared in several television series such as Cold Case, Without a Trace, Angel, ER, The Division, and That 70s Show.

As a close friend of George Clooney, Hinkley had supporting parts in some of Clooney's films. He portrayed a Hambone man in the drama Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (2002, with Carlos Carrasco, Daniel Zacapa, Michael Ensign, and Monika Spruch), a roulette dealer in Steven Soderbergh's crime sequel Ocean's Thirteen (2007, with Ray Xifo), and hardleg in the sport drama Leatherheads (2008, with Stephen Root and J.D. Cullum).
