Toya was a Starfleet crewman assigned to the operations division of the starship USS Enterprise-D in 2364.
She was the mother of Alexandra, who was briefly kidnapped by the Aldeans in an effort to re-populate their planet. Alexandra disappeared while playing in their quarters and Toya was sitting not far away from her.
She later participated in a meeting in the observation lounge with the other parents whose children were kidnapped. She was anxious about her daughter's wellbeing, but Doctor Beverly Crusher tried to calm her fears. (TNG: "When The Bough Breaks")
Toya was played by Connie Danese.
