A tree is a large perannial woody plant found on many planets in all 4 quadrants of the Milky Way galaxy.
A large conglomeration of trees is called a forest.
Corvan gilvos are uniquely suited to live in trees, as they closely resemble a tree branch. (TNG: "New Ground"), (DS9: "The Nagus")
