Trill was a M-class planet in the Trill system. It was the homeworld of two sentient species, the humanoid Trill and the non-humanoid Trill symbionts.

Star Trek: Star Charts suggested that the Trill homeworld was in the Kalandra sector. It also stated, on page 36, that Trillius Prime was another name for the planet Trill, and that this planet was located in the Alpha Quadrant.
From this same source, on page 33, the planetary capital of Trill was Mak'ala, that the planet was admitted into the Federation in 2285, and that this species had warp drive since antiquity.
