The Troglytes are the zenite miners of Ardana and are the lower social class of Ardanans. The Troglytes have long unkempt hair and wear special visors that could be related to their harsh work environment in the mines. They live on the planet's surface and prior to 2269, were inebriated due to the odorless gas zenite emanated in its raw form. (TOS: The Cloud Minders)
