The USS Agamemnon (NCC-11638) was an Apollo-class Federation starship in service during the 2360s.
In late 2369, the Agamemnon was part of Admiral Nechayev's task force assembled to defend Federation colonies from an anticipated second Borg invasion. (TNG: "Descent, Part I")
- Agamemnon commanded the Greeks in the Trojan War in Homer's Illiad. Four British Royal Navy battleships bore the name HMS Agamemnon, the first of which was commissioned in 1781 and later commanded by Captain Horatio Nelson.
