Background
The model used for the Alka-Selsior was one of the concept Excelsior models for Star Trek III: The Search for Spock. The name is a humourous reference to Alka-Seltzer, a brand-name of indigestion medicine, and a play on the name Excelsior . The registry would seem to suggest a mid-23rd century starship.
