The USS Excelsior (NCC-21445) was a 24th century Federation starship operated by Starfleet
In 2365, Captain Muriel Epstein was the commanding officer of the ship. In that year, the ship was on a deep space exploration mission of Sector 034. The ship was named on the Starship Deploy Status chart in the Starbase 173 courtroom. (TNG: "The Measure Of A Man", okudagram)
In 2370, Excelsior was in service along the Federation's border with the Cardassian Union. In that year, she was assigned to help search for the missing USS Hera. (TNG: "Interface")
