The USS Ganymede (NCC-53451) was a 24th century Federation starship operated by Starfleet.
In 2364, Darryl Oja was captain of the ship. This starship was surveying Sector 450, when it received a mission order from a Starfleet admiral at the Starfleet Mission Operations Division. In the order, the captain was ordered to avoid Subsectors 4534 to 4432 and to refrain from using high energy sensor scans in Subsector 4418. That order had been supported by Admiral Marcia Meldal-Johnsan and dealt with diplomatic negotiations with the New Zealand government. This captain was to acknowledge this order on subspace com net security code 045, code 100 alpha. Later that year, this order was read by Lieutenant Commander Data during an investigation into an alleged conspiracy in the highest levels of Starfleet Command. (TNG: "Conspiracy" okudagram)
By 2401, this Ganymede had been superseded by the Luna-class USS Ganymede. (PIC: "Vox")
