The USS Princeton (NCC-59804) was a Federation Niagara-class starship in service during the latter half of the 24th century.
The Princeton fought the Borg at the Battle of Wolf 359 in 2367. It was destroyed along with 38 other starships.
The USS Enterprise-D would fly past the wreckage of the Princeton as it entered the battlefield, following the fleet's defeat. (TNG: "The Best of Both Worlds, Part II")

The studio model of the Princeton, pictured to the right, was created for use in its appearance in "The Best of Both Worlds, Part II." The ship's class was designated by the production staff, along with the ship's registry (found on the primary hull), would later be revealed by Mike Okuda in the Star Trek Encyclopedia.
