Casualty list posted by the USS Tecumseh
The USS Tecumseh (NCC-14934) was a Federation starship that was in service with Starfleet in the late 24th century. During the early 2370s, the Tecumseh was commanded by Captain Raymond.
The Tecumseh fought in the Federation-Cardassian War and the Federation-Klingon War (2372-73), where it and the USS Rutledge led the Starfleet counterattack into the Archanis sector in 2373. At that time, the ship's science officer was Dr. Kalandra's husband. (DS9: "Nor the Battle to the Strong")
Later, the Tecumseh fought in the Dominion War in 2374-75, and many of her crewmembers appeared on the casualty report shown on Deep Space 9. (DS9: "In the Pale Moonlight", "Image in the Sand")
According to the Star Trek Encyclopedia this vessel was an Excelsior-class starship. The ship's registry number also originated in the Encyclopedia, and later appeared in an okudagram that first appeared in DS9 Season 6. For possible origins of the name, please see Tecumseh.
