The USS Tecumseh (NCC-14934) is a Federation Excelsior-class starship in service during the 24th century, commanded by Captain Raymond.
The Tecumseh fought in the Federation-Cardassian War and the Second Federation-Klingon War, where it and the USS Rutledge led the Starfleet counterattack into the Archanis sector in 2373. At that time, the ship's science officer was Dr. Kalandra's husband. (DS9: "...Nor the Battle to the Strong")
Later, the Tecumseh fought in the Dominion War in 2374-75, and many of her crewmembers appeared on the casualties list shown on Deep Space 9. (DS9: "In the Pale Moonlight", "Image in the Sand")
- May be named after the Native American who belonged to the Shawnee people, or possibly after William Tecumseh Sherman.
