Unitel Video was a company specialized in production and post-production services for film and television productions, providing studio and mobile facilities for the recording and editing of media. The editing facilities used for Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and the first three seasons of Star Trek: Voyager were provided by Unitel Video as well as for the video game Star Trek: Borg. Subsequent television Star Trek productions utilized editing facilities from Four Media Company and Level 3 Post.

Besides editing, Unitel Video provides services for videotape recording, film to videotape transfer, special and visual effects, and videotape duplication. Their mobile division provides on-location services for taping and live telecasting events. Besides Star Trek, other programs they have worked on include Sesame Street, The Simpsons, and Monty Python's Flying Circus: Live at Aspen. By the mid-1990s, the company began to endure some financial problems, necessitating the selling of their Editel unit in 1996. [1] In 1999, however, the company filed for bankruptcy. [2]
