Torona IV was the fourth planet in the Torona planetary system. this system was located in the Alpha Quadrant. It appeared in a starchart that Data and Picard were studying in stellar cartography in 2371. (Star Trek Generations, display graphic)
Background
A planet possibly intended to be Torona IV
The star chart seen in "Generations" depicted the location of planets, stars, and star systems in the Alpha Quadrant. Based on the dimensions of the circles used to mark locations on the star chart seen in "Generations", this system was located relatively near to the USS Enterprise-D.
Both an early draft of the script of the TNG: "The Big Goodbye" and Template:St list Torona IV as the homeworld of the Jarada, but the finished script just said the species was from the Jaradan sector. Still, in the final episode the destination of the USS Enterprise-D appeared to be a planet, and this planet might be intended to represent Torona IV.
