List of unnamed starships belonging to various species who originated from the Alpha or Beta Quadrants.

This unidentified hostile vessel possessed high-yield particle weapons, heavy shielding, a tractor beam and a grappling/drill used for piercing starship hulls.

In 2151, a vessel of this class attacked and killed the crew of an Axanar cargo ship, and later hooked the crew up to a bio-pump which was used to extract triglobulin from their blood.

Several days later, the hostile vessel returned and attacked Enterprise, which had discovered the Axanar vessel and had sent a distress call from the ship.

During the encounter, the hostile vessel was more than a match against the Earth ship's spatial torpedoes. The hostile vessel quickly disabled Enterprise's warp drive and captured the small Earth ship in its tractor beam. The hostile ship processed do a sub-molecular bioscan of the ship's crew, before locking onto the ship and beginning to drill into Enterprise's hull.

Before too much damage was done, the Enterprise was rescued by an Axanar combat vessel that first disabled the hostile alien's tractor beam, releasing Enterprise, before successfully destroying the ship in a one-sided fire fight. (ENT: "Fight or Flight")

Unnamed Species

An unidentified alien ship

In September 2151, this vessel attacked Enterprise (NX-01) twice. The third time it attempted to do so, Enterprise was ready for it and using their newly installed phase cannons, damaged the alien vessel to such an extent that it fled the scene at high impulse. It was never seen again (ENT: "Silent Enemy").

23rd century

Elysia

Numerous unnamed starships became trapped in Elysia after dissapearing from the Delta Triangle region in the many centuries leading into the 23rd century.

Among the species who lost ships in the Triangle were the Andorians, Tellarites, Klingons, Orions, Vulcans, Romulans, Humans, Phylosians, and the Gorn. Among the ships lost were the USS Bonaventure, USS Enterprise and IKS Klothos. (TAS: "The Time Trap")

Two of the vessels that appeared here were the same design as vessels that appeared at the Vedala asteroid rendezvous (see below).

In 2269, several unnamed starships, along with the USS Enterprise, converged at a Vedala asteroid to be breifed on their mission to the "mad planet".

Among the species present were Em-3-Green's species, Sord's species, the Skorr, Vedala and Humans. (TAS: "The Jihad")

Two of the vessels that appeared here were the same designs as two derelicts in Elysia (see above).

24th century

Vessels on file in LCARS

In 2364, Lieutenant Commander Data viewed three classes of ships in his search of the files in the USS Enterprise-D library computer. It was not known for whom these classes operated for or represented. The general assumption was that these classes of ships were operational in the mid-24th century.

An unnamed ship

This unnamed starship class was seen in a mission order by Data. (TNG: "Conspiracy")

This class of ship originally appeared in Spaceflight Chronology as a Federation Provider-class starship. This is its only appearance in the canon. The image is interesting for it appears that there are two Provider class starships joined together.

An unnamed ship

This unnamed starship class was also seen in a mission order by Data. (TNG: "Conspiracy")

This class of ship originally appeared in FASA as a Federation Lotus Flower-class neutronic fuel carrier. Like the class mentioned above, this class of ship doesn't appear anywhere else in canonical Star Trek.

Aft view

The toxic waste barge was a large, unoccupied sublight freighter carrying toxic waste that had been drifting through space, eventually endangering the population of Gamelan V in 2367. Upon receiving distress calls from the planet, the USS Enterprise-D towed the barge into the Gamelan sun, almost getting lethal doses of radiation in the process. The barge's propulsion system employed a gaseous core fission reactor but it appeared to have been inactive 300 years. Geordi La Forge referred to it as a "garbage scow." (TNG: "Final Mission")

Smuggler ship

The smuggler ship

This unnamed combat vessel was encountered at the Qualor II depot in 2368.

Of unknown origin, the vessel was involved in smuggling starship components from the depot by taking the place of the holding vessel USS Tripoli. Described as a "combat vessel", the ship's armaments were considerable - its phasers were powerful enough to reduce a Template:ShipClass starship's shields by at least 15% in a single volley.

Following the discovery of the remains of the Vulcan vessel T'Pau's navigational deflector, the USS Enterprise-D uncovered the operation, and - disguised as an abandoned ship - lay in wait for the vessel's arrival. When it took position to receive that day's shipment of goods, the Enterprise powered up and attempted to make contact. The vessel responded to hails by opening fire. A low-power phaser burst in return destroyed one of its phaser arrays, and caused collateral damage in her cargo bays - which at the time were fully loaded, mostly with weaponry. This led to massive power fluctuations and internal explosions, finally resulting in the destruction of the entire ship. (TNG: "Unification I")

The script describes this vessel as being "an ominous and impressive vessel," further describing it as a "dark, huge, sinister-looking, bristling with armament, and carries absolutely no marking of any kind."

Alien freighter

This unnamed alien ship was seen numerous times near Deep Space 9 from 2372 to 2375. (DS9: "The Way of the Warrior", et al.)
