The husband was contacted by USS Voyager when Captain Janeway was trying to locate Gar, an alien who had stolen the Doctor's matrix. He stated he knew Gar, and that he had dealings with him and had made a mistake in dealing with him, as Gar turned out to be a con artist. He was very upset because his wife had an affair with Gar and left him. (VOY: "Critical Care")

The Jye Husband was played by actor Jim O'Heir.
