Alien Batter

File:Prophet alien batter.jpg

An unnamed Prophet

The alien batter was one of the prophets to whom Benjamin Sisko tried to explain what the concept of linear time was.

Sisko found that the wormhole aliens (the prophets) had no concept of linear time and thus considered his presence disruptive. He tried to explain the concepts of past, present, and future, via the memories of his life's history. He explained that Humans have choices and these choices shape what will happen.

He used baseball as an example, and the alien batter believed that this showed that Humans were adversarial and aggressive. He explained that it was a game. (DS9: "Emissary")

The Alien Batter was played by Kevin McDermott.

Alien in the image of Julian Bashir

Bashir prophet, 2372

An Alien in the image of Julian Bashir was present when Quark entered the wormhole to ask the prophets to restore Zek to his former self. At first Quark ask what Bashir was doing there, not realizing he was an alien. (DS9: "Prophet Motive")

This alien image was also present when Akorem Laan and Sisko returned to the wormhole to ask the prophets which one was the true emissary. (DS9: "Accession")

The Alien was played by Alexander Siddig.

An Alien in the image of Kira Nerys

File:Kira prophet2372.jpg
Kira possessed

Kira, possessed by a Prophet during the Reckoning

An Alien in the image of Kira Nerys appeared several times when the aliens of the wormhole had contact with different humanoid species.

When Quark entered the wormhole to find out what had happened to Zek after he entered the wormhole, the alien in distain, said "another one". The aliens inform Quark that they found Zek to be adversarial and aggressive. They de-evolved Zek to a more peaceful state where profit meant nothing. (DS9: "Prophet Motive")

Akorem Laan, healed of his injuries by the prophets was sent to DS9 three hundred years after he entered the wormhole. He assumed he was the emissary. Akorem and Sisko returned to the wormhole to ask the prophets which one was the true emissary. This alien told Akorem that the d'jarras which he tried to reinstate, were in the past, which Sisko has taught them means it is no more and explained that they sent Akorem into the future for the Sisko who was their emissary. (DS9: "Accession")
