Urquat in 2153

Urquat was a city located below the surface of one of the equatorial islands on the Loque'eque homeworld. The Loque'eque originated in Urquat, which was once home to a thriving civilization.

In 2153, the Enterprise NX-01 visited the Loque'eque homeworld, where an away team was infected with a mutagenic virus. The virus, which transformed any aliens it encountered into members of the Loque'eque, had been created by the Loque'eque when their species had begun to become extinct. The Enterprise away team, consisting of Captain Archer, Subcommander T'Pol, Lieutenant Malcolm Reed, and Ensign Hoshi Sato were all transformed into the extinct species, with the exception of T'Pol. In his mutated condition, Captain Archer dreamt of the Loque'eque home city, Urquat. When he awoke, he and the other Humans experienced an overwhelming urge to seek Urquat. When they eventually arrived in the city, they found it in ruins, as it had been abandoned for centuries. (ENT: "Extinction")
