I was always a fan of the Star Trek Encyclopedia and strongly believe they should put a new, complete edition out, one that can include all Star Trek up to "These Are the Voyages..." and hammer out a solid chronology that fits "Enterprise" into the rest of the continuum. Until then, I have marvelled at the depth and breadth of Memory Alpha, and believe that it has potential to be even better than any book could ever be.
In the meantime, I will help to make this as accurate and user-friendly as possible. I hope to clarify and humanize some of the writing here to make it more accessible, and add some of the many, many details from the hundreds of Trek adventures that are missing from these hallowed pages. I have noticed many grammatical, spelling, and syntactical errors so far and will do my best to amend them as I come across them. I'll also try to add more episode summaries, as many fans seem to shy away from the more plot-based information.
I am also an avid model builder, and am working on a 1/2500 fleet. Feel free to contact me if you are a fellow 1/2500 builder, or have any tips on where to find good 1/2500 models. You can find me, as WeRideAtDusk, on the 2500 Page Forums and the Starship Modeler Discussion Forums. You can have a look at my Star Trek modeling endeavors here.
Peace and long life.
