Vandor IV was a planetoid located in the Vandor system. This planetoid was located at coordinates 664.8 × 1323.7 × 4949.9, which placed it in the middle of the system. It was in an elliptical orbit around the binary system.

In 2351, it was selected by Dr. Paul Manheim as the location for his time experiments. Along with his team, he built two laboratories on opposite sides of the planetoid, one of which was located at 20°9'N × 40°2'E.

During the next decade he managed to harness the power of the dense gravity of the pulsar in the system to open a window into another dimension in 2364. This caused an accident that destroyed one of the labs, and created the Manheim Effect, a temporal distortion that started to spread through the galaxy.

The hole was sealed by the crew of the USS Enterprise-D, and Manheim remained on Vandor, along with his wife, to continue his work. (TNG: "We'll Always Have Paris")

In 2371, the location of Vandor IV was labeled in the star chart Data and Picard were studying in stellar cartography aboard the USS Enterprise-D. (Star Trek Generations, okudagram)
