Var'Hama candles.

Var'Hama candles are ceremonial Klingon candles. The making of the candles is an intensely laborious process involving the capture of three targs from the Hamar Mountains on Qo'noS. The targ are sacrificed at dawn and the shoulders are boiled into tallow then hand-molded for two days to create the candles.

The tremendous amount of work and ritual involved in crafting the candles imbues them with great significance, and displaying the candles for a guest is a considered an honor.
