Veklava is a traditional Bajoran food.
Veklava was just one of many foods served to Bajoran comfort women on Terok Nor during the Occupation of Bajor. (DS9: "Wrongs Darker Than Death or Night")
In 2372, veklava was served aboard Deep Space 9 at the reception held for Lenara Kahn and her science team from the Trill Science Ministry who were attempting to create an artificial wormhole. (DS9: "Rejoined")
