Vidal Peterson (born 6 November 1968; age 55) is an actor who played the Romulan D'Tan in the Star Trek: The Next Generation fifth season episode "Unification II" in 1991. Two years later he appeared as the Cardassian Rugal in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine second season episode "Cardassians". Peterson filmed his appearance in "Unification II" between Wednesday 11 September 1991 and Friday 13 September 1991 on Paramount Stage 16.

Peterson started his acting career with guest roles in episodes of Eight Is Enough (1980) and Mork & Mindy (1980-1981).
