Vornar was a Cardassian who served as an officer in the Cardassian military during the late-24th century.

In 2375, he served on the Kelvas repair facility. In that year, several members of the Rebellion, Damar, Elim Garak, Rusot, Odo, and Kira Nerys boarded the station to steal a Breen energy weapon from a docked Jem'Hadar attack ship. Vornar recognized Damar, but granted him permission to enter the ship, wishing him good luck. Like many Cardassians, Vornar was disillusioned with Cardassia's membership of the Dominion and sympathetic to the Cardassian Rebellion. (DS9: "Tacking Into the Wind")

Vornar was played by recurring Star Trek guest actor J. Paul Boehmer.

Vornar is also featured in the Star Trek Customizable Card Game.
