Template:Realworld Ward Botsford co-wrote the story for (TNG: "Rascals") with his daughter Diana Dru Botsford. It is the only episode of Star Trek either of them worked on. He also directed TOS actor William Shatner for the Caedmon Records recording of Isaac Asimov's "Foundation". He also directed Leonard Nimoy for recordings of "The Martian Chronicles" and "Mimsy Where the Borogroves".
Botsford died of leukemia on April 1st, 2004.
