The waste export industry is a powerful and profitable Malon business responsible for the clean up and exportation of all non-recyclable waste byproducts produced within the Malon Cooperative.
The waste includes theta radiation, antimatter waste and other industrial byproducts. The waste export industry has a strong influence on technological developments, particularly ones that could potentially put them out of business. Emck, Vrelk, and Fesek were controllers who worked for the waste export industry. (VOY: "Night", "Juggernaut")
