Welsh rarebit
Welsh rarebit was a food native to Wales on Earth. It was primarily a snack dish made of toasted bread topped with a melted combination of beer or ale and cheese. Kathryn Janeway's grandfather used to make it for her.
In 2372, after the USS Voyager freed Quinn from a rogue comet, he created for Janeway a setting of Welsh rarebit like her grandfather used to prepare. Neelix, who had never heard of rarebit, then stated, "Rarebit? She never told me she likes rarebits. What is a rarebit anyway?" (VOY: "Death Wish")
